is a UK registered charity, run by volunteers who have visited the Children’s Home run by TRUST in rural south India. We aim to raise money and awareness of these children and the work done by TRUST through its inspirational leader and Managing Trustee, Mr P. Thirumaran.

TRUST (an acronym for Thirumaran Rural Upliftment Stable Trust)

is an Indian Trust registered under the Indian Trust Act in 1998 by Thirumaran and his wife Shanthi. It is registered under FCRA, 12AA and 80G. It works within the local community and its visions include:
• Upliftment of poor people (especially women) in rural areas
• Eradication of untouchability
• Tribal welfare
• Abolition of child labour
• Blood donation
• Village Health Care, and
• Children’s Homes

TRUST Children’s Home began in 2005 to look after children from the fishing community who were left destitute after the 2004 tsunami. There are now separate Homes for boys and for girls, providing around 80 children with a place to live, food, clothes and education including vocational training to equip them for their future independent life.
